RingCentral Meeting App Crash Workaround


As some of you may know the Ring Central Meeting platform has a bug within the program, that is causing the app to crash during screen sharing. Ring Central is aware of this issue and they are working to resolve this. In the meantime they have released a workaround. Below are the steps to modify a setting that should prevent the app from crashing. If you have any problems changing this setting, please submit a helpdesk ticket. Thank you.

Go into the settings for Ring Central Meetings, Click on Video and Advanced.

Change your Video Rendering Method to Direct3D9
